They should tell people before they book. They can’t have people visit them in their room
Also they need bigger portions for bigger people. For. Breakfast options.

Used this as a stop on our last 2 days The location about 500m from the centre of Jaco and the bars and restaurants. Hotel is modern and clean. Swimming pool is good. Can be a bit noisy during the day and early evening, but everything around the pool shuts down around 9pm. We appreciated the easy parking. Restaurant is basic, but lots of options outside. No complaints.

The rooms were spacious and looked very clean. The pool area was also very nice. The furniture looks a bit dated and worn out, but is still in Ok condition.

We booked 2 nights at Oceano as a bundle inclusive of flights from LAX. Its our honeymoon and thought this place looked good from the pics on line. We stayed rest of our time at the Marriott but they had limited availability so we thought we’d give Oceano a try. Folks if you’re looking for a typical 3 star this place isnt it! The facilities are tired and no experienced management on site. Our room was overlooking a maintenance storage or tip area!! We asked to be moved and were shown an improved room but then advised we would need to pay an additional $300 USD and it was only available one night! I asked if we could combine our two nights to compensate and we would check out a day early (find somewhere else). They had us waiting a long time pondering and finally we just politely abandoned the process as it was taking far too long! Both morning we were woken by the staff at 6am chatting outside our door. Also the receptionist said they would tidy up but laughably they just added more junk!! Anyways we checked into the Marriott today and back on track with our honeymoon….beautiful place 😎

The room was too small y very noise, they fixed some issues on the night and it was a lot of noise, we ask for something and nobody knows how it works
